One teacher of our Vidyalaya, SrLKrunal Makvana, PRT has done an
Innovative Project on ((SAVE WATER" (Social Awareness)
Under the project, he has emphasized in brief about ((Water
SAVING" and future problems based on ((Water". He made five
different groups OF Class V students such as :
Data Collection Group
Survey Group
Power Point Presentation Group
Skit/Drama Group
A Group for preparation of Model on Water Harvesting
Slogan/ Drawing Group
For each group, he has briefed them with information of what they
are supposed to do. The survey group students have been asked to go
for survey in the local area and propaganda the General Public and
create awareness of the use of water to the minimum extend possible
The Drama Group played a drama based on "Save the Water" on the
stage where all the children viewed this play with deep interest
and enthusiastically. They even played this drama in the local area
where the General Public viewed.
The slogans / Drawing Group prepared the slogans by drawing &
painting the collection of thoughts related to "Save Water". Also
posters, banners etc were prepared by children and displayed.
The power point presentation Group made a project on Power Point
on "Save Water" and prepared a Survey Table by filling up the
information of Data ollection.
Planned to organize a Rally of Teachers & Students with banners &
Slogans on "Save Water" covering the important local residential areas
and brief them with information about water harvesting system and
other latest adopted methods & techniques of water saving.
A Competition of Drawing & Painting on "Save Water" was organized
in the school for which a large number of children of the school had
participated.
Overall the children have been enlightened to contribute their best
efforts and develop their potentials and skills taking into consideration
of following tools:

Use Internet, newspapers, magazines for data collection
Know about Future Problems based on Water & Social Awareness
